In September 2016 we started off as Braintree Futsal Academy offering Futsal training sessions to boys and girls between ages 4 to 13 on a Monday night from Braintree.

Since its origins the Academy applied to the FA to take over the National League status of Braintree Futsal Club which was accepted and we have overhauled all areas of the existing club, with new colours, a new kit, change of crest, committee, and players.

Braintree Futsal Club was reborn.

Since then we have grown and created elite groups for the most talented local Futsal players from ages U6 through to Seniors. We run this parallel to the Men’s Senior Squad and train the same elements and philosophies right throughout of all our teams.

Our aim is to produce exceptional local Futsal players that can go on to represent Braintree Futsal Club at the highest level possible.

For Braintree Futsal Club it is essential that we construct the core of our senior squads (and future development squads) from players that progress through our youth programmes and supplement them with the best players available outside of this.
